This project seeks to better understand school psychologists’ knowledge of de-implementation, their attitudes regarding use of evidence-based practices (EBPs), and their behavioral intent to discontinueineffective programs given the school-implementation climate.

Information from this study may benefit other school administrators, PK-12 teachers, and school-aged children in the future. If you are willing, please forward this email to the school psychologists in your organization.

School psychologists, I am inviting your participation in this study, which will involve taking an online survey that can be accessed directly through this link:

    https://qualtrics.etamu.edu/jfe/form/SV_abikeksuRZfpoOO

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. To be eligible to participate, you must be a practicing school psychologist in a public or private school setting. Your participation in this study is voluntary. There is no penalty if you choose not to participate, and you can withdraw from the study at any time. If you choose to withdraw from the study, all data collected will be destroyed through deletion of files. At the completion of the survey, you can choose to enter your personal email address for a chance to win one of five $20 gift cards.

You are invited to participate in a survey about understanding school psychologists’ interpretation of psychoeducational assessment data. We believe that the results of this study will provide valuable information to school-based practitioners, researchers, trainers, and policy makers in better understanding the decision-making patterns and contributing factors to psychoeducational assessment.   Participants must be currently practicing as a school psychologist in a school setting in the United States.

This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board (Protocol #STUDY2026-0348) at Texas A&M University. Participation is voluntary and is anticipated to take about 30-45 minutes or less to complete.

All responses will be kept strictly confidential. Participants who complete the survey will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to get one of twenty $200 gift cards as a gesture of gratitude for their time and effort.

This study examines the extent to which burnout among school psychologists is associated with several contemporary aspects of practice, including the use of artificial intelligence, digital assessment tools, and perceived mismatch between preferred and actual methods used to identify specific learning disabilities. Participation is voluntary, anonymous, and limited to currently practicing public school psychologists in the United States who provide in-person services. The survey is expected to take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

We are the process of creating a new Project ECHO School Autism Assessment, a free telementoring initiative currently being developed by Drs. Maryellen Brunson McClain (Indiana University Bloomington), Micah Mazurek (University of Virginia), and Terisa Gabrielsen (Brigham Young University). The goal of this program is to expand access to expert-guided learning and collaborative case-based discussions to support high-quality autism assessment practices in school settings.

    What We’re Asking:
This brief survey will help us better understand:

    • Your professional development needs related to autism assessment

    • Areas where additional training or resources would be valuable

    • Your potential interest in the new free Project ECHO School Autism Assessment telementoring program once launched

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your responses are anonymous, and your participation is entirely voluntary.

Your expertise and perspectives are invaluable, and we would be grateful for your participation. Please feel free to share this survey with other school psychologists who may be interested.

Thank you in advance for your time and contribution to improving support for autistic students and the professionals who work with them.
